Beach Clubs

The wide, sand-covered beaches are a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The area is best known for its hip clubs and wild jungle nightlife, as well as excellent restaurants. One of our favorites includes Mia and Soy Tulum beach clubs. Go for lunch and lounge all day into the evening for dinner!

Cenotes

There are hundreds of centotes (hidden water holes) in area. This is a must do when in Tulum. Closest centote is 10-15 minutes away called Grand Cenote. Other favorites and popular ones include: Cenote Calavera, Casa Tortuga, Cenotes dos Ojos, Cenote Tankah, Cenote Cristal, and our favorite (which about 1.5 hour outside of Tulum), Cenote Oxman and Suytun. Average entrance fees around 300 pesos/person.

Adventures

Xcaret offers a fantastic day-long experience with its underground river, entertainment,
and culinary delights, making it one of Mexico’s top natural water parks and cultural attractions. It’s an ideal destination for a family day out. For the more adventurous, Explor provides thrilling activities like zip-lining, ATV rides, and canoeing in the
caverns.

Ruins

The Maya ruins are approximately 20 minute drive outside of downtown Tulum. The ruins sit on the seaside right over the cliffs. The view is absolutely beautiful overlooking the turquoise waters and white sanded beaches. Cost around 100 pesos/person plus small parking fee.
